A Letter from Your Executive Director
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is with a heavy, but grateful heart, that I announce to you that North Pacific Pediatric Society (NPPS) has made the difficult decision to cease operations effective immediately, due to the unprecedented financial challenges caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
NPPS is proud to have marked its 200th conference in Leavenworth, Washington last October. And together we have celebrated more than 100 years of rich history as one of the oldest international pediatric associations in America. We are equally proud to be your local pediatrics community, and we could not have done it without the generous support over the years of people like you.
This organization began in a pandemic, and now, as we enter the third year of this global pandemic, we are proud to have provided support and resources for vital pediatric services to our communities and the children they serve.
We are so appreciative of everyone’s support and generosity over the years, as members, attendees, and donors, and we look forward to connecting with you again in the future.
If you have any questions and/or concerns, feel free to reach out via email anytime.
With gratitude,
James Chattra, MD
NPPS Executive Director
